Billboards replicating the look of Canadian road signage made it impossible for international travellers to miss an important reminder from Pacific Blue Cross.

  • Brief: Remind international travellers to purchase coverage before they cross the border.

    Insight: A trip to an American hospital would cost an arm and a leg for Canadians without travel insurance, but few remember to purchase coverage before their trips.

The billboards were purchased at increments along the drive to the border and dressed complete with reflective vinyl for nighttime visibility.


Accolades

The campaign was reported on everywhere from the US to India, and Buzzfeed ranked it #1 in their '8 Best Ads of the Month.'
