Shake It Off

With limitless home internet data, you can shake off any fears of throttling or overages.

  • Brief: Communicate that TELUS home internet users would no longer be constrained by data limits.

    Insight: Data caps had become the latest battleground in TELUS’ ongoing war with Shaw over home internet customers. With a gigantic ad buy to mark the removal of the divisive constraint from their service, we needed a fresh critter metaphor that worked both in still and motion executions.

Launch Spot

Our spot performed well in TV/preroll/digital executions, but particularly on social media, where bite-sized, looping nuggets of content drew heavy engagement. Yes, we reached out to Taylor Swift. No, we couldn’t afford her.
